The result of years of research on nanostructures and interferential layers, DID™ is an optical security element, very easy to identify with the naked eye. It takes the form of a design composed of two distinct and colored elements visible in both diffuse and direct light.
The DID™ is the pioneer of tha next generation in Visual Security Design, visually disuptive from traditional holograms. It is a zero-order optical nanostructure combined with thin films. The elements are machine-readable and extremely difficult to copy.
It reproduces a design with two diffractive colors visible at a direct reflection angle.
When the image is 90° rotated on a horizontal plane, there is a color permutation between two colors. Its recognition is extremely easy and very ergonomic. DID™ is an exclusive SURYS technology.
It is possible to combine DID™ with other types of originations in particular Alphagram™ for advantages of greater flexibility in the graphic and optical specification of an image, easy control and recognition of the image, and extreme counterfeit resistance.
DID™ has registered increasing success as a solution for protecting identity documents. Since it was first introduced in 2003, its effectiveness has been widely recognized by law enforcement agencies with no occurence of counterfeit to date. Today it is used by many countries – often combined with Alphagram™ – including France, Philippines, Indonesia, Senegal, Egypt, Bangladesh, and more.
Very efficient on transparent material, DID™ is very convenient to secure identity and travel documents.
